Shaun picked up a car and ran the last couple races of 2007 with the help of Bob Knox and Knoxmotorsports. In 2008 Shaun made a run for the Sportsman title with guidance from Chance Oveholt of Rockit Motorsports and took the title in the closest points battle in WSQSA history. The season ended in a tie with Steve Pfister and came down to tie breaker, "Main Event Wins", which Shaun had 1 more then Steve. Shaun will be moving up to the GN class for 2009.
