Kenny Roller joined WSQSA in the spring of 2004. Sponsored by Steve Pfister, he quickly became a driver to watch. With lots of practice and hard work he moved through the field and became a contender for the Championship. By the end of the season he was on top of the points and wrapped up the season with the points lead and won the Sportsman Championship.
2005 offered a new season and a chance to defend his title. With contenders like Brian Lambert, Chance Overholt, Greg Wolfe, Jason Brinkley, Stan Cleaver, and many other great drivers, he knew that defending his title would be a tough challenge. By the middle of the season Kenny was in Second place in points and it looked like he would continue to be a strong contender. But as the season drew to an end, the racing had proven to be tough and Kenny finished the season tied for 4th with Zach Pfister and 5th place in the points.
2006 was Kenny's 3rd season in the sport and another chance to move to the front and try for a 2nd title. With the help of teammate Brent May, Kenny was able to make a run for the title. Kenny took the points lead in the first race of the chase series and held onto that lead to the final race. With just 4 points between 1st and 2nd Kenny move to the front and won the final race of the season to clench the title. In 10 races his worst finish was 5th, with 8 top 3's and one win.
Kenny will be taking the 2007 season off to put more of his time in to the finer details of running the club. As the 2007 President, Kenny will be focused on making improvements to the sport and it continused growth.
Kenny Roller lives and works in Pasco, WA. His wife is Tammi they are the proud parents of 5 girls and hopes that one day Emily ( seen at the track every race) will one day be driving a car of her own. He and his family enjoy fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. Also he and Emily enjoy racing and the time they both spend at the track and in the shop working on the car.
